Coordinator PYP, 100 % (80 % coordination, 20 % teaching)

ISLK - International School of Lund Katedralskolan is an IB World School authorized to teach the Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme. The school works in close collaboration with Katedralskolan where the Diploma Programme is offered. ISLK is a growing school and has 320 students at the moment.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Provide leadership in planning, organizing team sessions and other development activities concerning the PYP.
Lead a group of staff; setting goals, evaluate and have professional development talks.
All contacts and correspondence with the IBO concerning the PYP.
Organize professional development.
Guide and work closely within the programme and practices of the PYP.
Collaborate with teachers and the ELT on planning days and other activities around PYP and whole school activities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.


KVALIFIKATIONER
Enthusiasm and strong commitment to the IB concept.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Certified teacher and excellent teaching skills.
Able to lead and work well in a team environment.
Attitudes and skills required for a cross-cultural environment.
Knowledge and experience of the PYP and coordination along with a great understanding of the IB continuum.

Native English is desired.
